Assembly Speaker Robin Vos wants quick action but the State Elections board wants a go-slow approach. This is in reference to a bill that would make it harder to recall local officials, makes the voter ID law even more restrictive and makes voting by absentee ballot a pain in the ass.
When asked why the hurry when we don’t even know how much this will cost, Vos replied, “…"For me, I think we can’t put a price on democracy. For me, whatever it costs to make sure we have a system that works and allows individuals to vote…we thought it was a worthwhile investment."
Listen — championing democracy and making sure individuals can vote are the furthest things from this pinhead’s alleged popcorn mind. This is all about restricting ballot access to Democrat voters. It’s state statute gerrymandering.
Don’t insult us by saying this is “all about democracy” and making sure “people can vote.”
